Its widely held, however, that the sequels are not. As recently as the Matrix 15th anniversary, reviewer Dan Seitz simply called them “undeniably terrible.”1 But I would like to argue that they should be celebrated – especially the second movie –and that the entire saga should be accorded a favored status in your sci-fi movie collection.
