James holds a BA in English from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Copyediting Certificate from the University of California, San Diego. James is also an IT professional, with over thirty years’ experience programming in the healthcare and education fields. James’ fiction has appeared in Sci Phi Journal, Bards and Sages Quarterly, and the Cast of Wonders podcast.
When not writing or editing, James catches local symphony, opera, and musical theatre performances, mediums that he says bring fresh perspective to writing fiction, though it can be a challenge to find a willing victim to accompany him to a three-hour opera! James lives in Long Beach, California, USA.
